Dreamy fresh milled rye, crunchy millet bits, orange & fennel aromas, and just barely sweetened with wildflower honey - my tasters loved it!
A dense and flavorful whole grain sourdough. Made with 100% stone ground whole rye and wheat with a wild rye culture. Long fermented. Plant-base whole food. Predominately organic ingredients (the honey and orange zest are not organic). No commercial yeast. These loaves get better 24-48 hours after baking. They freeze well and make exceptional toast!

Ingredients: 100% stone ground whole rye flour*, water, 100% stone ground whole wheat flour*, millet*, Humboldt Honey Wildflower Honey, sea salt, orange zest, wild rye culture. (*organic)
Approximately 500g. Dough is baked in a pullman loaf pan (see second picture) and cut into thirds.
This product cannot be shipped, it is for Farmers' Market pick-up only.

Soft but hearty and the millet on the outside gives an excellent texture and flavor; Remember when you were a kid and left the crust of your pb+j on the plate? This has the reverse effect, nibbling and savoring all the millet rich crust before eating the center of your tasty snack or toast, yummm <3

This bread is oh so delicious with all of its subtle fantastic flavors! Best when thinly cut and toasted with my favorite ethnic stew. I slice the loaf thinly and then freeze it for future use with all of my meals from around the world. I love the taste of it plain with no embellishments because it stands on its own!! This is a keeper!!
