One of our best sellers! Mildly sour, chewy, and versatile for sandwiches, toast or the dinner bread basket. 100% wild culture (no commercial yeast), organic unbleached wheat flour, stone milled whole wheat flour (sustainably grown on small farms & milled on Beck's own granite grist mill). This bread is long fermented and takes us 36 hours to create. We recommend freezing it (slice it first!) if you aren't eating it all in 1-2 days.
This product cannot be shipped, it is for local pick-up only.
We now have Curbside Pick-ups at the bakery! Call us when you arrive and we will bring your order to your car (with freshly sanitized hands of course!)
We have two pick-up dates, be sure to select your preferred date on the drop down menu when ordering:
Saturdays, 10 am-2 pm

I tasted the sourdough bread and was immediately won over. I'm gluten sensitive and sour dough -- real sour dough -- is the only bread that I can eat in moderation. I called up the bakery and spoke to Rhonda who immediately tried to figure out how to get it to me in Glendale. I was so excited to see it delivered by USPS to my doorstep today. Thank you, Rhonda!!

It is hard to find a great sourdough and we are lucky to have Beck's Bakery producing it. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and was raised on exceptional sourdough. Beck's sourdough is among them.
