We love the flavor of this bread! It is a long fermented dough (more than 36 hours from start to finish), very mildly sour (from the wild levain culture), and with a clear clean flavor of our local wheat...this bread has terroir! 

Because we mill our whole grains in house, you get the entire grain...nothing is sifted off. You also get a great dose of prebiotic bran (preferred food of the gut microbiome) and all the germ (aroma rich oils, B vitamins and micronutrients). Just three ingredients: Stone milled whole grain flour (wheat and a pinch of rye), water & salt. 

It is alchemy.

This product cannot be shipped, it is for curbside pick-up only.

    This was a great bread. Good toasted with butter or spread with egg salad. Perfect texture and I live the hearty whole wheat and rye.

    A hearty delicious whole wheat sourdough that remains surprisingly and delightfully light. We slice, toast and add any number of toppings with much satisfaction. This bread accompanies butter and marmalade like a champ, avocado like a star and mayonnaise with sandwich toppings like it was born for the job. So so pleased. Beck's Bakery makes life altogether more fabulous, nutritions and delicious.


    Very good, not dry or too heavy.
